Back to Breakfast at Place Milton
Place Milton, in the heart of the McGill ghetto, often sees lines on Saturday and Sunday mornings that puts Schwartz’s to shame, and mostly for good reason. The breakfasts here are filling, cheap, and perhaps most importantly, perfectly delicious. Oh, and it’s all you-can-drink-coffee that is also pretty decent.
Bacon and Egg Breakfast Burger
The first ingredient is apparently “2 regular cedar planks, soaked in water” but I bet you could re-create this fairly easily in a frying pan.

This is really the only way that french fries should ever make it into breakfast: as a lazy take on thick cut homefries, ready to mop up egg yolk and bean sauce.
